Dr. Rob Winningham Dr. Rob Winningham received his Ph.D. in neuroscience from Baylor University. He joined the faculty at Western Oregon University in 2000 where he serves as a Professor of Psychological Sciences. He helped create the Gerontology Department, when he was Division Chair of the Behavioral Sciences Division. And, he has served as College Dean, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Western Oregon University. His scholarship and publications have generally focused on maximizing quality of life, cognitive stimulation, physical exercise, intergenerational programs, and social engagement throughout the lifespan. In addition to publishing many peer-reviewed scientific articles, Dr. Winningham has been invited to give nearly 2000 presentations at various conferences, workshops and community settings. He has helped develop a number of popular products for senior living and healthcare, including LinkedSenior, SMARTfit, and Activity Connection. His book, Train Your Brain: How to Maximize Memory Ability in Older Adulthood was published by Routledge Publishing and his latest book is entitled Cranium Crunches, both of which can be found on Amazon.

Bethany Thomas Bethany Thomas is the owner of Evergreen Nutrition in Eugene, Oregon, and an Integrative Health Practitioner dedicated to helping people uncover the root causes behind their health challenges. Her work focuses on foundational wellness, cellular health, and teaching the proper order of healing and detoxification so the body can function as it was designed to. Bethany specializes in functional wellness testing, including Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA), comprehensive blood work with full thyroid panels, DUTCH hormone testing, stool analysis, mold and toxicity testing, and total toxic burden assessments. She is passionate about helping clients zoom out and recognize patterns within the body rather than becoming stuck chasing symptoms alone. In addition to her clinical work, Bethany is the host of the podcast Totally Exposed—Real, Raw, and Authentic and a certified fascia maneuver coach through Human Garage. She is deeply committed to educating and empowering others through a holistic, root-cause approach to health and healing. Outside of her work, Bethany is a proud single mother of two who loves learning, staying active, hiking,cooking, music, dancing, and living life fully.

Kari Rocco Kari Rocco is a Family Nurse Practitioner with advanced training in Functional Medicine, hormone testing, and hormone balancing. She completed her studies at Northern Arizona University and the University of Arizona, where she developed a strong foundation in integrative and whole-person care. Kari’s work is rooted in helping patients feel heard, understood, and supported. She specializes in personalized care for men and women experiencing hormone imbalance, low testosterone, menopause, perimenopause, thyroid concerns, PCOS, PMS, migraines, weight changes, adrenal fatigue, and the many symptoms that can impact energy, mood, confidence, sleep, and overall quality of life. Her goal is to help patients better understand their bodies, their labs, and their options so they can make informed decisions and move toward feeling their best. Kari believes that optimal wellness is not just about treating symptoms — it is about restoring balance, improving vitality, and supporting long-term health. She continues to stay current through ongoing training with leaders in functional and hormone medicine, including the University of Arizona Integrative Medicine program, World Link Medical, the Institute for Functional Medicine, A4M, and the Hormonal Health Institute. Before opening Rocco’s Remedy, Kari worked as an RN at HonorHealth, a Magnet-recognized hospital in Phoenix, Arizona, and as a primary care provider in Eugene, Oregon. Her experience also includes medical mission work in the Dominican Republic and Guatemala. Kari’s lifelong passion for patient care, prevention, fitness, healthy aging, and restorative wellness continues to guide her work. Outside the clinic, she enjoys international travel, time in nature, exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest, and recharging along the Oregon Coast.

Brett Vannatta Brett is a graduate of Indiana University, still in a little bit of shock over last football season! He has spent his career in various roles in technology, working with both startups and multi-billion-dollar companies. In 2023 he founded Gray Matter Tech Services, a company dedicated to providing technology support for seniors, through both on-site services and seminars focused on ways technology can help seniors.

Amber Rohrer Amber is a dedicated health and performance coach who found her calling after her own health transformation in her 20s. Her journey was further inspired by witnessing her mom suffer from a stroke, fueling her desire to help others avoid similar experiences. In her 40s, Amber began running ultramarathons, leading her to explore how mindset influences achievement. This passion inspired her to go back to school in her 40s to get her Bachelor of Science in Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology from Kent State University. Amber is committed to empowering others to break free from limiting beliefs and achieve their fullest potential.

Antoinette LeCouteur Antoinette LeCouteur is an author, coach, and philanthropy advisor. She is a contributor to RELIT: How to Rekindle Yourself in the Darkness of Compassion Fatigue (Gray Bear Publications), a multi-author anthology bringing together 16 voices from healthcare, coaching, law, and lived caregiving experience. Her own chapter explores how focusing in the future - and on what endures beyond caregiving - helped her find strength and forge deeper bonds with the people she loves. A theatre major turned social impact professional, Antoinette has helped direct hundreds of millions of dollars in charitable giving and brings the same passion for human connection to her speaking. She is co-founder of Gray Bear Advisors.

Sebastian Perrin Sebastian Perrin is a young, award-winning serial entrepreneur. As a young man, he had dreams of taking on the skies. After graduating from high school, he committed to an aviation school in Southern California. While learning to fly, he also worked a job in door to door sales and then, eventually boot-strapped 3 successful businesses. Since becoming a decorated debate captain, his zeal for public speaking carried on throughout his entrepreneurial journey.

Marc Bickley Marc Bickley is an Edward Jones financial advisor based in Eugene, Oregon. A graduate of the United States Naval Academy, Marc brings the discipline and commitment from his military background to his holistic approach to financial planning. He is particularly passionate about helping families and business owners navigate complex transitions, such as legacy planning and inter-generational wealth transfer. Marc’s commitment to community wellness extends beyond financial health into significant philanthropic and personal athletic pursuits. He recently completed an ambitious 50-mile run on his 50th birthday to raise awareness and funds for the Alzheimer’s Association, inspired by his work with many older clients and families touched by the disease. This dedication to physical endurance and community service reflects his belief that true well-being is a multifaceted journey. A longtime resident of the Willamette Valley, Marc is deeply rooted in the local community. When he isn’t helping clients or training for his next outdoor adventure, he enjoys backpacking, reading, and singing in his church choir. Whether he is coaching clients & business owners on their financial legacy or hitting the trails with his family, Marc is driven by a desire to make a heartwarming difference in the lives of those around him.
